I am a computer programmer and was previously a primary school teacher in a school in Kingston upon Hull, England. I have used Scratch with all KS2 classes. We began by creating animations, often based on other curriculum areas. We then moved on to using Scratch to make games, starting with maze games. The results may be seen on the galleries we created together. I was lucky enough to attend the Scratch at MIT Conference in July 2012. These are my reflections: http://scratchmit2012.weebly.com/ I'm attending the Scratch at MIT Conference in August 2016 to see how I can drive forward Creative Computing in schools in Hull and the East Riding. I'm particularly interested in integrating Creative Computing in the curriculum.
