DCCS Grade 6 Year-end project

My grade 6 class enjoyed creating projects using Scratch (as first time users). Their projects are on topics from grade 6 math and science.
I am excited about this first attempt by the students and by myself. Have a look and try some of them.

I did this as a year-end project option for students. We finished the year with this.
Interesting! You said it was an "option." Was Scratch something they were learning in computer class or did you introduce it to them? If so, would you mind sharing a little bit about how you got them started with their projects?
