Welcome to ScratchEd! We're very happy to have you as a member of this community for Scratch educators.
ScratchEd has two primary goals: building community and sharing content. To support these goals, we hope that all members will respect the following guidelines for participation.
We hope that a wide variety of Scratch educators will join the community. From those who have been using Scratch for years to those who are taking their first steps with Scratch, we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute. We ask that all the interactions on the site through stories, resources, and discussions be respectful, friendly, and supportive. Anyone who is unable to interact in this way will be discouraged or prevented from participating.
From activity guides to personal stories to project collections to troubleshooting questions, we hope that community members will share many different types of ideas, questions, resources, and content. When members share their own content on the site, they are agreeing that others may freely use it, share it, remix it for non-commercial purposes – as long as they credit the original creator, following the Creative Commons By-NC-SA license. If you share someone else's content, we expect that you give credit to their work. We reserve the right to delete inappropriate content.
If you have any suggestions for how to improve these guidelines for participation or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us through the online feedback form.
