Brief biography:
Received B.A. in elementary education and classical languages from Cornell College in 1974; MRE in Christian education in 1979; MA in Education - School Library Media Studies from University of Northern Iowa in 1998. Taught English for 2 years in Wisconsin and English/Language Arts/Reading for six years in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Taught keyboarding for 2 years in California. Then worked for 14 years as Library Media Specialist at the Area Education Agency in Creston, Iowa and, for part of that time, as an adjunct instructor for Buena Vista University in children's literature and instructional technology. Since November 2010 I've been teacher-librarian at the Danville and New London (Iowa) Community School Districts working with PK-12 teachers and students. I still also provide professional development for teachers through the AEA system.
