Hosting a Scratch Day Event: February 2011 Webinar

In this webinar, educators from around the world share experiences and advice on hosting a Scratch Day event.

Scratch Day is a worldwide network of gatherings, where people come together to meet other Scratchers, share projects and experiences, and learn more about Scratch.

In the second ScratchEd webinar, Karen Brennan and Mitch Resnick discussed different strategies for hosting a Scratch Day event, with an emphasis on design-based approaches to event organization and stories from organizers.

Special guests were invited to share their experiences in organizing past Scratch Day events and advice for future Scratch Day hosts:

The slides are attached below.

You can find out more information and resources for hosting your own Scratch Day event, find a local event to attend, or connect with others on the Scratch Day website.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them as a comment here.

We hope to see you at the next webinar on Monday, March 28 at 7pm EST, where we will be discussing Computational Thinking concepts.
