After one month, we (EduScratch-Portugal) have translated to portuguese language the MIT's Scratch Curriculum Guide. (Concluída a tradução para língua portuguesa do Scratch Curriculum Guide).

As a part of our Scratch Day we launched the contest “Repentina”, in which the students were asked to develop a Scratch Project without previously knowing the topic or the restrictions.

SCRATCHED was our inspiration, yes. Portugal has a Scratch portal of its own since 2009 and we decided it was time to share Scratch with Schools and educators. That is how EduScratch was born!

Corrie Meyer and Kristin Judd, math teachers at Parkway West High, tried introducing concepts of geometry differently this year - by allowing students to create games and stories using Scratch.

EduScratch (CCTIC - ESE/IPS, Portugal) has been inspiring schools and other institutions to work with Scratch. At our site we now have a link to the "map" of the projects we inspired until now.

EduScratch project (DGIDC/ERTE - CCTIC-ESE/IPS, Portugal) supports work with Scratch in the classroom. This is one of the schools were that work took place. The video is in portuguese language.
