Here is a little project to try with your students.  They will learn about fish at the same time they take their first steps in program writing.

They are 9 year old kids.  They had done a couple of projects before this one.  They loved recording their voices and watching their fish "swim".

This seems like a fun project -- the examples on the Scratch site are great.

I liked how you showed them an aquarium at the beginning. Was this their first Scratch project?
