I just started teaching Scratch about two weeks ago and it has been very exciting for me. My co-teacher is a young man who happens to be my nephew and although he was just introduced to Scratch, he is very good at it. I wish to share some tutorials he created with you.
1. Importing sprites from the internet.
2. Using the glide and go to blocks.
3. Setting the x and y opening position of a sprite.
There are 8 students in our class. Their ages range from 8 to 11 years and there is only one girl. You can view their projects at our gallery http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/74756
