Kevin and Abe Karplus have started a tech club at Spring Hill Advanced Elementary School for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. A lot of the club activities revolve around programming video games and animations using Scratch. The club website archives club newsletters which contain a wealth of useful teaching materials. The weekly newsletters feature Scratch tips and activities, progress reports, and Scratch comic strips by students. Comic strips really bring student perspectives into picture. On the website, you'll also find a link to the student gallery.
