This handout was created to accompany our workshop at Scratch@MIT on August 13, 2010. It presents 10 examples of creating music using Scratch that grow in complexity. All examples use the song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." They go from simply playing the first few notes to playing the entire song in two parts as a round. The handout also includes suggestions for expanding on these examples in your class. The Scratch programs themselves are available at http://www.scratchmusic.org.
