Scratch Educator Show & Tell Videos - October 2011 Meetup

Videos of Scratch educators sharing a rubric for pass-it-on stories and Scratch for Moodle.

At the first Scratch Educator Meetup of the 2011-2012 school year, we held a session called Show & Tell, where participants share how they are using Scratch in their teaching practices. Educators can show students' Scratch projects, share a personal project, or start a discussion on a related topic.

The Show & Tell session is a recurring event at the ScratchEd Meetup events. You can watch the Show & Tell videos from past Meetups.

Have an idea for something you'd like to show or talk about? Meetups are held every 1st Saturday of the month. Find out more information or register for the next meetup on the ScratchEd events page.

Ingrid Gustafson
shared one of her student's projects, a trailer video created in Scratch. She then showed her class Moodle site and described how she uses it to manage her after school Scratch Club.

Rosemary Slattery and ScratchEd intern, Aaron Morris, teamed up to share an assessment rubric they had developed in one of the breakout sessions during the meetup. Rosemary talked about the Pass-It-On story activity (session #7 in the Scratch curriculum guide) that she experienced during the Creative Computing summer workshop.
