Textbook for Upper Elementary / Middle school/ Highschool

Looking for teachers willing to test out my textbook with their students - I am willing to send a copy those who are interested

After looking around for a suitable text book to help teach kids about scratch and not finding what I was looking for, I decided to create one myself. The text is bright and colourful and teaches not only how to program with scratch, but also introduces computer terminology and the history of computers to students. It is perfect for Upper Elementary, but I have also used it to introduce programming to my Grade 11 Computer Programming students. They love the instant gratification that programming with Scratch gives them. If you are interested in purchasing a copy (the black and white copy sells for less than $20) you can buy them at www.lulu.com/tannis , or send me a message and I will email you a pdf for free if you promise to give me a little feedback. *** March 2011 update*** Thankyou for your suggestions, I am no no longer offering free PDF copies. The text is now available to purchase.

Dear Tannis,

Hi. I am interested in reviewing your book. I teach a small class of 10-11 year-olds and we have just closed for the year so that the children can prepare for their final school exams.  We will start Scratch classes again next year. Thank you.

Best regards,

Ai Boon
