Overview
Members of LaSalle Schools and Universities have developed an extensive Scratch curriculum. Their Scratch website features lesson plans and video tutorials that explain Scratch basics, as well as a document that highlights the 21st century learning skills addressed by Scratch. The website features three video courses, as well as other resources that support the implementation of Scratch in formal and informal educational settings.
What follows is an overview of their video courses entitled "Scratch 1," "Scratch 2," and "Scratch 3."
Scratch 1: Getting Started
►Target Audience: Beginners
►Course Description: This course introduces students to the basics of Scratch. The students will learn how to move Sprites; how to add sounds; how to change colors; how to control actions with the mouse or the keyboard; how to design your own Sprites, etc.
