WEBINAR: "Creating Projects with Scratch" hosted by NMSU on November 9, 2010

Join this free webinar which will introduce Scratch, tour the website, and discuss classroom use.

New Mexico State University is hosting a webinar for all who are interested in learning about Scratch and discussing ways to use it in the classroom. This is a follow up to their Classroom Technology Integration Fall 2009 series.


The webinar will be presented by Carl Bogardus on Monday, November 09, 2010 from 4:30PM - 5:30PM Mountain Time. Please check the event website for tech requirements.

Here is the description from the website:

"This is an introduction to the free programming language Scratch and its website/repository/social area. First there will be an introduction to the programming features that are unique to Scratch. After that, the presenter will log on to Scratch's website and give a tour. Then participants will view student and teacher projects to discuss to the possibility of classroom use. Finally, each participant will be encouraged to register on the website and look for projects they like to use as an introduction of Scratch use in their classrooms.
