A Digispired Student

Digispired is a Workforce Investigation Inspiration for Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Program funded by the National Science Foundation to Longwood University in Virginia. Started in 2007 by Dr. Manorama Talaiver, students who participate in the program meet every Saturday during the school year to learn about programming and game design.

In this video, a high school student presents his "Trig Shot" Scratch project at the VSTE Conference in Roanoke, VA. During the demonstration, he explains how he was inspired during trigonometry class to create an interactive billiards game that illustrated angle calculation.
