Scratch Day 2010 at Thomas Jefferson Institute (Queretaro, Mexico)

Our school in Queretaro hosted visitors from our other two campi: Guadalajara and Mexico City. They were able to visit an exhibition on the work of our elementary students, who happily showed and explained their projects. From a very short animation about farm animals, to a quite complex game about the solar system, all the projects were based on the Science curriculum, enriching the students' learning experience through the use of Scratch.

Also, the Scratch Club presented their 7-level game on the bicentennial celebration of our Mexican Independence. This showcase served as a closing experience for these 9 students who worked together for about three months, even though they live in different cities.

At the end of the day, all the participants received awards for making an outstanding job in the use of Scratch as a tool for learning.
