Well, we are working this school year with 13 to 16 y.o. students.
They work two hours per week with Scratch.
They are impulsed to use heuristyc learnig (or learning by discovering) to master Scratch, but the main focus is in reasoning and metacognitive developing skills.
The kind of videogames they are programming are no-violent content, strategic thinking challenges as puzzles.
